After paddling our canoe all day in Katherine Gorge we arrived at the ideal location to camp overnight. The soothing burble of flowing water enticed me to explore the peaceful surrounds and toward the end of the day I found a gentle rapid. As the rock walls glowed with the late afternoon sun, they reflected intense colour in the smooth flow of water.
